SO WHAT IS THE FARCE?

A farce is “a light, humorous play in which the plot depends upon a skillfully exploited situation rather than upon the development of character.” … The health industry has a history of skillfully exploiting illness and the desire for optimal health. Sometimes it can be amusing, but the bottom line of “getting rich on the suffering of others” is that doing that does not develop character, requires no ethics, and is as unhealthy and toxic as any person can get. A salesman like that is a farce in that s/he brings that sickness to the field health. A salesman like that isn’t concerned with potency or freshness of product. With a salesman like that, health products can be high risk.

Ganoderma lucidum in coffee is BRILLIANT. It really is. I have used reishi (gano) for decades, grinding it, putting it into capsules by hand, supplying them to patients and taking them myself. It’s a great health product. With over 250 phytonutrients and 154 antioxidants, I find it to be more healthy than many foods. The folly lies in forgetting that fact and falling into the marketing mindset that sees dollar signs instead of human beings.

Consider this: Right now someone — one single human being — genuinely needs what you have. Right now. Connect with that person. Notice them, listen to them, and answer them. Offer our product if it’s appropriate (with reishi coffee, it often is).

Now compare that to this: You want a customer. You go find a person and tell them they need what you have, offering them samples and sales pitches.  Do they really need or want what you have? You’ll never know if you approach things that way. You might find quick bucks with your persuasive techniques, but in the scope of things, that approach is of no real and lasting value in enriching lives one cup at a time. It is folly

According to Harvard University,  Coffee May Protect Against Disease ( http://www.health.harvard.edu/press_releases/coffee_health_benefits ). The article gives us the great news:

“Here’s some of the mostly good news about coffee:

Blood pressure. Results from long-term studies are showing that coffee may not increase the risk for high blood pressure over time, as previously thought. Study findings for other cardiovascular effects are a mixed bag.

Cancer. Coffee might have anti-cancer properties. Last year, researchers found that coffee drinkers were 50% less likely to get liver cancer than nondrinkers. A few studies have found ties to lower rates of colon, breast, and rectal cancers.

Cholesterol. Two substances in coffee — kahweol and cafestol — raise cholesterol levels. Paper filters capture these substances, but that doesn’t help the many people who now drink non-filtered coffee drinks, such as lattes. Researchers have also found a link between cholesterol increases and decaffeinated coffee, possibly because of the type of bean used to make certain decaffeinated coffees.

Diabetes. Heavy coffee drinkers may be half as likely to get diabetes as light drinkers or nondrinkers. Coffee may contain chemicals that lower blood sugar. A coffee habit may also increase your resting metabolism rate, which could help keep diabetes at bay.

Parkinson’s disease. Coffee seems to protect men, but not women, against Parkinson’s disease. One possible explanation for the sex difference may be that estrogen and caffeine need the same enzymes to be metabolized, and estrogen captures those enzymes.”
